BIOGRAPHY
Its a cliche, but I started to draw - well, make marks - before I could walk and it has captivated me ever since.
Being self taught, I was completely left to my own devices at school as they were not pushy types there and I think came to the conclusion that since I already liked drawing and wasn't bad at it that they would concentrate on the other students. I have since come to the conclusion that making all your own mistakes and feeling your way is the best way to nurture a creative talent. Sometimes too much tuition can produce 'clones' or people unable to see things from their own real point of view rather than what the teacher is telling them to see.
My preferred medium for the fine art is Oils and pastels and for illustration I tend to use Digital techniques using a Wacom Digital Tablet and pen and Photoshop and Corel Painter X.
